He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Saunders and Thelma Saunders; and his siblings, John "Garry" Saunders and Cecelia Ryan of Monroe City, Missouri.. He is survived by: his wife Jane Vollmar; and his sister Cynthia Duffy of Springfield. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
