He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Jones and Beatrice Jones; and his wife Nancy Ann Bosche. He is survived by: his children, James Jones, Jr. (Debra Montoya), Kay Jones Goding, Dee Jones (Karen Johnson) and Michael Jones; his grandchildren, Scott Goding, Claire Goding Myers (Dan) and Grace Goding Warden (Charlie); his great grandchildren, Nora Grace Myers and Peri Jones Warden; his sibling's children, Sue Bosche Boresi (Matthew Dill), Mary B. Clark, Paul Clark (Marcy), Michael Clark and Barbara Clark McKinney (Mike); and his great-nephews, Jay Boresi, John Boresi and Tim Bosche.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
