He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Wayne Spann and Sue Middleton Spann; and his brother Charles Wayne Spann, Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Kitty Gastorf (Rick) and Victoria Sheehan (Jerry Piontek); his sister-in-law Rachel Spann; his brother Andy Spann (Ann Sutter); and his nieces and nephews, Ricky Gastorf (Jessica), Joey Gastorf, Meghan Sheehan James (Rush), Elizabeth Sheehan, Jack Sheehan, Ellen Spann, Michael Spann, Kelsie Greenberg (Ben) and Parker Spann.
