He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kirby; his sons, John P. Kirby III (Katina) and James H. Kirby (Heather); and his grandchildren, Caroline, John IV, James and William.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clarendale Clayton Retirement Center (7651 Clayton Rd, Clayton, MO 63105). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in John's memory to Catholic Charities or Boys Town, two causes close to his heart.
