He is survived by: his wife Janet Benwell (Tibbles); his children, Joe Benwell (Patti), Linda Abell (Greg), Larry Benwell and Janet Staicoff (Steve); his grandchildren, Greg Abell (Nyssa Plympton), Lindsey Wilde (Drew), Rob Abell (Kaitlyn), Melody Staicoff, Patrick and John Benwell; his great grandchildren, Tripp, Camryn, Graham Wilde and Scarlett Abell; his sister Ona Vititoe; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Bandy and Janet Benwell. He is also survived by nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122-1308). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
