She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Lanius; her parents, Laura Armistead and Roy Armistead; her siblings, Beulah Sanders (Noel), Ralph Armistead (Margaret) and Dr. Roy Armistead (Elma); her niece Lorna Nunes; and her nephew Dr. Wayne Armistead.
She is survived by: her children, David Lanius (Karen) and Ava Schaeffer (Hal); her grandchildren, Hope, Annie, Allegra Schaeffer, Jordan, Seth and Dora Lanius; her grandparent Kazuharu Hara; and her nieces and nephews, Marianne Gleich (Peter), Bill Nunes and Marine Armistead.
