She was predeceased by: her parents, Conway Briscoe and Ruby Briscoe; and her brother Conway Briscoe II. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Skryd of Belleville, IL; her children, D. Nathan Hood (Mary Margaret Bobzin) of St. Paul, MN and Rachel Herrman (Kyle); her grandchildren, Wesley, Camille, Joel and Bryce of Webster Groves, MO; her sister Mary Ellen Bremer (Charles) of Ladue, MO; and her sister-in-law Margaret Briscoe of Chesterfield, MO. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Phyllis would love if a donation were made to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
