He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Statzer of Kirkwood, MO; his son Nicholas Statzer MD (Michelle); his granddaughter Sloane Statzer of Nashville, TN; his daughter Gabrielle Statzer MD of Nashville, TN; his brother Todd Statzer of Pittsfield, IL; his father-in-law James Kays of Mt. Zion, IL; his brother-in-law Randy (Paula); and his parents, Darrell Eugene and Helen Leslie Statzer (McNabb). He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
