Though Kaz may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gaines and Mary Ann Steever; and his brother Ryan Gaines. He is survived by: his stepfather Tony Steever, Sr.; his siblings, Aaron Gaines, Brandon Steever (Martina), Tony Steever and Harley Steever; and his pet Chaos.
