He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Alex Steele and Pearl Mae Steele (Hitchens); his wife Alberta Faye (Taylor); his children, Rebekah Lynn Steele, John Thomas Steele, Jeanne Anne Lion, Donald Eugene Steele and Janice Marie Van Winkle; and his great grandchild Harley Fischer Dunkin.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Ray Steele (Diann) of Sedalia, MO and Alisha Johnson (Todd) of Warrensburg, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
