He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Otto Sankey, Jr. and Margaret Clara Sankey (Falter); his wife Karen Sankey; and his brother Keith Sankey. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Johnny Stein of California, Paul Wieberg of Columbia, Missouri, Lynne Brandt of Vienna and Elizabeth "Betsy" Watring (Greg) of Argyle, Missouri; his siblings, Glenn Sankey (Christy) of Koeltztown, Missouri and Carol Jones (Larry) of Koeltztown, Missouri; his sister-in-law Cara Nilges of Koeltztown, Missouri; and his stepgrandchildren, Ethan Brandt, Clayton Brandt, Delaney Brandt, Hanna Huhn, Dylan Huhn, Mason Huhn, Milla Stein and Niccola Stein. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
