With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allex Cottrell of La Grange, Missouri, who passed away on May 5, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett L. Cottrell, Jr. and Anna Lee King Cottrell; his niece Casey Bell; and his brother David Brumbaugh. He is survived by: his spouse Robyn Lynn Nichols Cottrell; his children, Thomas Gene Cottrell (Kendall) of Monticello, MO, Zachary Wayne Cottrell (Khyleigh) of Fort Wayne, IN, Kayla Ann Scott (Jacob) of Dover, MO and James Alan Burchell (Lacey) of Ewing, MO; his siblings, David Cottrell (Brenda) of Kahoka, MO, Dodie Washburn (Bob) of LaBelle, MO, Renny Lay (Doug) of LaBelle, MO, Darren Cottrell (Bonnie) of Monticello, MO and Renzie Cottrell (Debbie) of Monticello, MO; his brothers-in-law, Mike Nichols (Michelle) and Raymond Nichols; and his grandchildren, Lakin Marie Cottrell, Gage Everett Cottrell, Halee Kristein Burchell, Lila, Bentley Scott, Hunter Scott, Kelce Scott, Hayes Cottrell and Presley Cottrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his 3 fur babies.
