With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Main (La Monte, Missouri), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara left this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fabian Strain and Nellie Strain (Myers); her husband John Main; her siblings, Robert Strain, Joann Marnach and Mary Monahan; her children, Jeffery Main and Christina Main Braxton; and her great grandchild Kennedy Liberty Bell.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Bell of LaMonte, MO; her sisters, Florence Strain, Frances Gochenouer and Paulette Monahan of Fort Dodge, IA; her grandchildren, Jonathan Bell, Daniel Bell, Dylan Braxton and Megan Shoemaker; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Bell, Riley Bell, Allister Bell, Aveannah Holly, Everly Shoemaker, Emelia Shoemaker, Jolene Braxton and AnnaLee Bell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home (812 S Main St, La Monte, MO 65337). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PawsAbilities in Sedalia, MO.
