He is survived by: his wife Patricia Green; his daughters, Tara Shanks (Mark) of Highland, Tori Larson (Blake) of La Plata and Trina Logan of Puyallup, Washington; his sister Barbara Zabinski of Orland Park, Illinois; his grandchildren, Melissa (Mark), Jeffrey, Justin, Megan, Kyle (Daniela), Naomi (Taylor), Hannah, Kirk, Elizabeth, Sarah (Kobi), Ben, Elaine, Olivia, Rachel, Rebekah, Ann Marie, Robert, Christopher, Ashley, Brandon, Amber, Julie, John, Patricia, Jason, Collarre and Serina; his great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Sophia, Everly and Adalyn; his children, John Sako IV, Joshua Sako, Tracy Sako and Vicki Lynn Sako; and his brother Richard.
