We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2022, at the age of 64, Robert Dale Matteson of La Plata, Missouri, born in Kirksville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Alexander McDonald; and his brother Gary Matteson. He is survived by : his mother Wanda L. Matteson (Lawson) of La Plata, Missouri; his spouse Robin Lynn Richardson; his siblings, Stoney Matteson (Polly) of La Plata, David Matteson (Teresa) of Santa Quin, Paul Matteson of La Plata, Missouri, Carol Buxton (Kelly) of Columbia, Elaine Scudder (Jim) of Kirksville and Sue Sullivan (Tade) of Blue Hill, Maine; his friend Donna Cook of La Plata, Missouri; and his brothers-in-law, David Richardson of Warsaw and Daryl Richardson of Cairo, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials in memory of Dale may be made to the donor's choice.
