We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023, at the age of 74, Stephen A. Sawyer of La Plata, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Sawyer and Peggy Sawyer (Jenkins). He is survived by: his wife Doris Brockshus; his sons, Chad Sawyer (Katy) of La Plata, Missouri, Jeremy Sawyer (Tabitha) of La Plata, Missouri and Dusty Sawyer (Aimee) of La Plata, Missouri; his brother Kevin Sawyer of South Fulton, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Delaney, Emery, Cash, Tristen, Emily, Katie and Connor; and his great grandchild Creed.

Memorials in memory of Steve may be made to La Plata Fire Department and/or La Plata Men's Golf Association.
