Sylvia Ilean Murr Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Ilean Murr of La Plata, Missouri, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Craig and Lourena Craig (Allred); her husband Earnest Lawrence Murr; her daughter-in-law Penny Murr; and her grandson Joshua Murr.

She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Murr of Baring, Randy Murr (Joy) of La Plata, Missouri and Lisa Snyder of Kirksville, Missouri; her brother Carl Craig of Burlington, Iowa; her grandchildren, Crystal Murr, Logan Snyder and Brooke Snyder; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Murr, Natalie Howerton, Jakob Karhoff and Mason Karhoff; and her great great grandchild Ailayah Stark.

Memorials in memory of Sylvia may be made to New Harmony Cemetery.
