He is survived by : his wife Shirlyn Gioe; his children, Joseph Gioe Jr. (Brittany) of Dallas, Georgia, Theresa Cava (Matt) of Oswego and Melanie Mercer (Gregory) of Plainfield, Illinois; his siblings, Frank Pironti of Whiting, Mary Anodide (Clem) of Brick and Pamela Acocella (Emmet) of Cedar Grove; his grandchildren, Molly, Dominic, Gregory, Olivia, Bailey, Calliana and Christian; and his great grandchild Maverick Gioe.
