She is survived by: her sons, Nixon Simmons, Kenneth Simmons (Brenda) and Willie Simmons (Christy); and her sisters, Linda Bartlett and Leota Haynes (Chris). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
