James Coan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Coan in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, Charles and Caroline; and his siblings, Mary Rudolphi, Tom Coan and Bill Coan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barb Creely (John), Lisa Haller, Terry Disper (Paul) and Dianne Worden (Danny); and his grandchildren, Kyle Creely (Rachel), Jonathan Creely (Lindsay), Amanda Obst (Kevin), Elizabeth Starks (Nick), Jordan Haller, Andrew Disper (Katie), Michael Disper (Ariel) and Eric Worden.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7701 State Rte N, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2800 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
