He is survived by: his wife Julia Howell; his children, Jimmie Howel Jr. (Susan) of Foristell, MO and Jeri Whyte (Jim) of Lake St; his sister Paula Canoy of Creve Coeur, MO; his grandchildren, Jessica and Mike; and his great grandchild Ani.
