He is survived by: his children, Scott Cathey (Joyce), Cristie Koechle (Robert) and David Cathey (Shelley); his siblings, Richard Cathey (Alice) and Diana Smith; and his grandchildren, Lauren Fleming (Darian), Ashlin Bathe (Ryan), Brittany Berendzen (Nate), Chelsea Wolters (Ben), Tylan Cathey, Jackson Wichmann, William Wichmann, Mckinna Cathey and Emma Wichmann.
In lieu of flowers, Raymond would have appreciated donations in his memory to Operation Food Search or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
