In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Landers; her son Steven Landers; and her parents, Leslie Wood and Delores Wood. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Hodge and Heather Openlander (Kirk); her siblings, Phillip Wood (Hope) and Linda Wood; and her grandson Nathaniel George.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home (240 N Kingshighway St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
