He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Ann Lindsey Burks. He is survived by: his wife Cathleen "Cathi" Burks of Lake St; his children, Jeff Burks (Kaitlyn) of Silex, MO, Cash Burks of Lake St, Alyssa Gremaud (Brent) of Old Monroe, MO and Mackenzie Hall of Lake St; his grandchildren, Tate Burkemper and Carter Burks; his father Bobby Gene Burks of Winfield; and his siblings, Michael Gene Burks (Erin) of Troy, MO and Jill Diane Bueneman (Mat) of Old Monroe. He is also survived by great-nephew; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
