She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Mallory and Ruth Mallory (Rouse); her son Gary Wayne Lyden; and her siblings, Delores Gross and Jerry Mallory.

She is survived by : her former life partner Lester Lyden; her daughter Diana Viets of Pittsburg, KS; her grandchildren, Amy Mason of Overland Park, KS, Lindsay Deringer (Jeremy) of Frontenac, KS and Joshua Lyden (Abigail) of Lake; her great grandchildren, Mason Deringer, Rilynn Deringer, Parker Deringer and Levi Lyden; her stepgreat-grandchild Dimitry Taylor; and her nieces, Susan Spencer (Rob) and Jeri Lynn Beals (Scott).
