Hillman of Mills, Wyoming; his father James "Jim" Hillman; his stepmother Martha Hillman of Lamar; his sisters, Abby Gilkey (John) of Lamar, Jenny Tucker (Jeff) of Lamar and Kathleen Van Becelaere (Matt) of Prairie Village, Kansas; and his stepsiblings, Joe Starks (Mindie) of Carl Junction, Missouri and Jesse McGinnis (Josh) of Show Low, Arizona.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Lamar (1301 E 6th St, Lamar, MO 64759).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hillman Education Fund in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
