He was predeceased by : his parents, Moses Troyer and Lydia Troyer (Wickey); and his wife Verona Troyer (Graber). He is survived by : his children, David Troyer (Sylvia) of Somerset, OH, John Troyer (Mintie) of Frankfort, OH, Alvin Troyer of Ramona, CA, Chris Troyer (Elsie) of Lott, TX, Barbara Miller (John) of Grandview, TX, Mabel Miller (Jerry) of Rosebud, TX, Edna Miller (Jonathan) of Knob Noster, MO and Suzanne Yoder (Melvin) of Lamar, MO.; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Graber of Elkhart, IN and Susan Horst (Sam) of Clarkrange, TN. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Golden City Mennonite Church (1025-1045 E State Hwy Bb, Lamar, MO 64759).
