He was predeceased by: his uncles, Jean, Bob Keithly and Lyn (Marilyn Mayfield); and his grandparents, Harvey, Iva Mayfield, Coy and Mary Sechrest.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Sechrest and Janet Sechrest (Mayfield); his aunts, Nadine Mayfield and Patty Kennemer; and his cousins, Mike Keithly and Teresa Butler.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home (1201 Broadway St, Lamar, MO 64759). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at the Lake Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the ASPCA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
