He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Richard and Ethel Milton Buzzard (White); his daughter Joyce Buzzard; his siblings, Marguerite Thornburg and Harvey Buzzard; and his half-brothers, Harold, Donald and Earl Blades.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Marie Buzzard (Rawllings); his children, Jim Buzzard (Lisa) of Lamar, MO, Janet McArthur (Charles) of Lamar, MO and Jackie Speights of Lamar, MO; his brother Wayne Buzzard (Patsy); and his grandchildren, Katie McArthur, Anya Gripka (Tyler), Alexa Buzzard, Laura Speights and Cole Speights (Tabby). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
