Linda June Payne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda June Payne of Lamar, Missouri, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Linda June is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Linda June's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer "Bill" Harold Payne and Mildred Lucille Payne (Schilb); her sister Judy Redford (Payne); her nephew Todd Adam Payne; and her great-niece Makayla Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dan Payne (Ann) of Lamar, John Payne (Paula) of Ozark, Todd Payne (Lori) of Lamar and Susan Medlin (Don) of Lamar. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, 24 great-nieces and great-nephews, and 16 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home (1201 Broadway St, Lamar, MO 64759).
