He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Garwood and Velma Garwood (George); his granddaughter Stacy Goodchild; and his siblings, Lee Garwood, Charles Garwood, Marge Lundien and Shirley Hendrix.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Stansberry (Jerry) and Gina Reed (Larry); his brother George "Bill"; his grandchildren, Sarah Obermann (Brian), Jordan Stansberry (Jessica) and Isaac Reed; his great grandchildren, Riley, Jade Cochran, Noah, Dawson, Cameron Obermann and Addi Reed; Jeremy Goodchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Baptist Hill Assembly.
