He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley F. Reed and Ruby L. Reed (Harrington); and his siblings, Jim Reed, Tom Reed and Donna Byrd.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Reed (Stacey) of Lamar, MO, Larry Reed (Gina) of Lamar, MO and David Reed (Christy) of Jasper, MO; his siblings, Charles Reed of Carterville, MO, Arlene Webber and Peggy Cook of Neosho, MO; and his grandsons, Gabe, Brian, Jordan, Logan and Issaac. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weng Funeral Chapel (605 S Main St, Jasper, MO 64755). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lamar Christian Church (1208 Walnut St, Lamar, MO 64759). A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the Pleasant View Cemetery (5503 Thorn Rd, Jasper, MO 64755).
