She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Dalrymple and Stella Dalrymple (Lapel); her husband Dean McAvoy; her son Gary Dean McAvoy; and her siblings, Dorothy "Jean" Watts, Cleta Tullius, Ruth Ann Jones and Donald Dalrymple.

She is survived by : her daughter Janet Estep of Columbia, Missouri; her grandchildren, Andrew Estep of Missouri, Deana Foxen of California, Timothy McAvoy of Colorado and Lauren Glassman of Colorado; her great grandchildren, Austin Foxx, Taryn Foxen, Grace Glassman and Jack Glassman; her great great grandchild Kaz Foxx; and her siblings, R. L. Dalrymple of Thomas, OK, Letha Gail Blagg of Kansas City and Lucille Dalrymple of Houston, Texas..
