It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Marie Crockett of Lamar, Missouri, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma Marie Crockett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Loewe and Ethel Loewe (Smith); her husband Bobby L. Crockett; her grandson Barry Crockett; and her siblings, Eugene Loewe, Irene Westbay, Edna Mae Mayfield and Betty Gilmartin.

She is survived by : her children, Darrel Crockett (Judy) of Lamar, Don Crockett (Wendy) of Houston, Missouri, Marilyn Holloway (Andy) of Woodville and Marla Shepherd (David) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Blake Crockett (Lori), Brad Crockett (Jeni), Jacina Crockett, Aubrey Crockett, Michael Holloway (Hope), Casey Holloway, Shabri Parker (Zach), Kira Birdsong (Logan), Kylan Holloway, Joel Shepherd and Brooke Clement (Keagan); and her sisters, Nadine Mayfield and Wilma Braker. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home (1201 Broadway St, Lamar, MO 64759). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the St. James Cemetery (874 E Hwy CC, Lamar, MO 64759).
