It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Sue of Lancaster, Missouri, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Kathy's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Green and Genevieve "Jenny" Green (Walls). She is survived by: her husband William E. Smith of Lancaster, Missouri; her son Joshua Smith of Kirksville, Missouri; and her sisters, Judy Sunderman (Mark) of Nashville and Susan Taylor (Glen) of Denver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (402 W Washington St, Lancaster, MO 63548). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
