She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Elmer and Jenny White (Jenkins); and her siblings, Evelyn Burklow, Robert Klettke and Carol Gerwing.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Fredrick Matz; her children, Becky Waltz Badger (Phillip) of South Bend and John Waltz (Jennifer) of LaPorte, Indiana; her stepchildren, Christopher Matz (Amy) of Leadington, Eric Matz (Shelley) of Carmel and Dawn Matz of Laporte, Indiana; and her sister Jean Warner of Michigan City, Indiana.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
