She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Cartee and Mabel Cartee (Sullivan); her husband Darliss Henson; her daughter Barbara Smith; her son-in-law Dennis Bayless; her siblings, Gene, Henry, Jack, Clark, Jimmy Cartee and Lillian Shipley; and her brothers-in-law, Ken Burns, Bob Darnell and Jerry Bishop.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Bayless, Donald Henson (Patty) and Kenneth Henson; and her siblings, Gary Cartee (Diane), Sue Burns, Faye Darnell and Paula Bishop. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
