He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Pruitt and Imo Carroll Pruitt; his wife Betty Jean Whitehead; and his siblings, Dales, Clifford, James, Barbara Massey and Sharon Oursbourn.
He is survived by: his children, Marcene Dismang (Randy) of Auxvasse, Alva Pruitt (Carolyn) of Lebanon, Terry Pruitt (Barb) of Glen Burnie and Bobbie Pruitt of Daytona Beach, Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Claws and Paws and donations may be made through the funeral home.
