He was predeceased by: his parents, Levy McElvaney and Alavan Kinsey McElvaney; his wife Ree; his son Randy McElvaney; his siblings, Ernest, Clifton, Tommy McElvaney and Mae; his son-in-law Don Ogle, Jr.; Bill (Clara Harrill) and Bobby.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Ogle Payne (Brian) of Lebanon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashley Sicard (Chad), Josh Ogle (Ashley), Lindsay Lafferty (Shane), Levi McElvaney (Brooke) and Andrew McElvaney (Marissa); his great grandchildren, Britney, Keeley, Mason Sicard, Evan, Brayli, Addison Ogle, Kadence, Karsyn McElvaney, Will Lafferty and Amelia McElvaney; and his great great grandchildren, Legend and Layla. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to Friends of the Fort and donations may be left at the funeral home.
