He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel D. Clamp and Birdie Clamp (Oswald); his wife Miriam Lee Gantt; his siblings, Harold Clamp, Lois Kaminer, Edith Deece, Louise Weed and Iva Metze; and his grandson Chad David Leaphart.
He is survived by: his children, Everett Clamp of Lebanon, MO, Brad McCall of Lebanon, MO and Rhonda Clamp Leaphart (Stephen); his siblings, Hayward Clamp (Brenda), Larry Clamp and Frances Campbell (Clamp) of South Carolina; his grandson Samuel Leaphart (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Samuel and Chad Leaphart; and his great great grandchildren, Colten and Tate Leaphart. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Shadel's Colonial Chapel (1001 Lynn St, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at the Mt. Zion Cuba Cemetery (11190 Cuba Dr, Grovespring, MO 65662).
In lieu of flowers, the family will be donating to various horse shows in David's memory. Donations may be left at or mailed to Shadel's Colonial Chapel, PO Box 948, 1001 Lynn Street, Lebanon, MO 65536. (checks can be made payable to any of David's children).
