He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard B. Luthy and Nellie M. Lang Luthy; his son Lynn F. Luthy; and his siblings, Tom, Richard, Bobby, Juanita, Gracie and Clara.
He is survived by: his wife Jeroline Fay Barnett; his daughter Linda Powers (Larry) of Waynesville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Amy, Heather Devore and Nathaniel Powers (Jessica); his stepgranddaughter Tammy Bone (Richie); his brother Preston Luthy (Shirley) of Lebanon, Missouri; his stepgrandson Brian Powers; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Jean, Jake, Kevin and Caleb; and his stepgrandson Josh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial to Phoenix Hospice has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
