She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Gladys Rogers Smith; and her brother David Smith. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Scott; her children, Angell Young of Strafford, Missouri, Adam Young (Jenny) of Lebanon, Missouri and Barry Young (Amber) of Lebanon, Missouri; her stepchildren, Jessica Scott of Des Moines, Iowa and Jeff Scott of Strafford, Missouri; and her siblings, John Smith, Jr., Dan Smith and Betty Minor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; her dog.
A memorial has been established to Shriner's Hospital and donations may be made through the funeral home.
