She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McCain and Opal Caviness McCain McKelvey; her husband Roger Wassem, Jr.; her sister Abigail Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Wood (Wayne), Mary Bratek (Johnnie), Joan Sullivan and Bud Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Wassem (Sharon) of Lebanon, MO and Pam Jessip of Ozark, MO; her sisters-in-law, Jean Hall of Springfield, MO and Diane Burke (Jim) of Lebanon, MO; and her cousins, Janice Pogue and Sandra Churchill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Memorials have been suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Alzheimer's Association.
