He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Legan and Bernice Minnick Legan; his wife Betty Jean; his grandson Noah; and his siblings, Dorsey David, Howard, Jesse, James, Paul, Beulah Mae, Edna Marie and Clara Watson Bowden.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Edward "Eddy" Legan, Jr. (Debbie) of Gilmore, Delbert Dwayne Legan of Lebanon and Terry Lyle Legan (Joye) of Laquey, Missouri; his siblings, Harold Legan (Phyllis) of Marshfield, Darrel Legan (Alice) of Phillipsburg, Missouri, Wilma Lewis of Halfway and Carol Gjerde of Plainfield, Illinois; his grandchildren, Sonya (Randall), Steven (Amber), Brandi (Troy), Jason (Sami), Alexandria, Terryssa and Levi; his great grandchildren, Dalton, Alyssa, Haylee, Brandon, Blake, Allie, Hunter, Jaden, Maezie, Josh, Haydn, Gabe, Rosalie and Brealyn; and his great great grandchildren, Landan, Addie, Kanin and Ezra. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
