With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph Edward Posten Sr. of Lebanon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Posten and Velma Posten (Clark); his son Cody Posten; his brothers, Carl and David Posten; and his sister-in-law Joanie Posten.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Posten (Conway); his children, Connie Posten, Janicee Rivera (David), Ralph Edward Posten Jr., Jamie Posten (Pam) and Chet Posten (Sara); his grandchildren, Charles Mac (Eunice), Jeremy, Jonathan, Shelby of Jessica, J. T., Jenny, Callan and Bennett; his great grandchildren, Isla and Celina; and his siblings, Don Posten (Timothy McFall) and Cora Hake (Todd). He is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shadel's Colonial Chapel (1001 Lynn St, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Hazelgreen Cemetery (32000 U. S. Rte 66, Richland, MO 65556).
