He is survived by: his wife Sheileyn Cross; his sons, Matt Pilant (Michelle) and Larry Pilant; his grandchildren, Jamie Pilant (Kyia), Mikayla Pilant and Triniti Thompson; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Blakely, Piper and Adeleigha; and his siblings, Charles Pilant, Harold "Bud" Pilant, Jim Pilant, Billy Gene Pilant and Frances Sue Casner. He is also survived by other relatives and many dear co-workers and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shadel's Colonial Chapel (1001 Lynn St, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Pilant Cemetery (15955 FR 1120, Cassville, MO 65625).
