He is survived by: his mother Ruth Whitten (Sorrell) of Falcon, Missouri; and his siblings, Bob Whitten of Falcon, Missouri and Gloria Joyce of Godfrey, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and his friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shadel's Colonial Chapel (1001 Lynn St, Lebanon, MO 65536). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Mt. Salem Cemetery.
