He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanford Rhoads and Laura Rhoads. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Rhoads; his children, Anthony Rhoads (Caroline), Denny Rhoads (Samantha), Deidra Whitaker (Matt), Travis Rhoads (Amber) and Dustin Rhoads (Emily); his grandchildren, Chansey Winder (Steve), Brylee Rhoads, Emilee Whitaker, Adelyn Whitaker, Avery Rhoads and Trenton Whitaker; his sister Jane Kelley (Don); his brothers-in-law, Kevin Spoering (Lora) and Kent Spoering (Alba); his niece Anna Watts (Dallas); and his nephew Nick Guthery (Christine). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews; as well as several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lebanon Technology & Career Center (LTCC) or Lebanon R-III School System.
