He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Koehler and Della Ready Koehler; his siblings, Edward Koehler and Linda Young; and his daughter Tressie Fincher.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Ambry Shaffer (Adam) of Lebanon, Missouri, Seth Koehler (Maggie) of Lebanon, Missouri and Caleb Koehler (Mackenzie) of Lebanon, Missouri; his stepchildren, Kenneth Schrader (Kiera Phillips) of Lebanon and Brittany Schrader of Rolla, Missouri; his siblings, Wanda Arnall (Bob) of Lebanon, Donna Hicks of Lebanon, Michael Koehler (Sharon) of Lebanon, James Koehler of Lebanon and Brenda Warren (Gary) of Waynesville, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Maelynn, Preslee, Andersen, Crew, Abigale, Aubrey, Ashlynn and Kinslee.
