He was predeceased by : his parents, Arley Pemberton and Nellie Wright Pemberton; his wife Helen Louise Williams; and his siblings, Gail, Raymond, John, Helen, Cecil and Wayne.

He is survived by : his children, David Pemberton (Missy) of Lebanon and Lisa Carr (Scott) of Lebanon, MO; his sister Hazel Rawlins of Bentonville, AR; his grandchildren, Hillary Cherry (Josh), Kelsey Hancock (Grant), Lindsay Arnold (Jon), Ashleigh Carr, Brendan Carr (Kara), Cody Carr and Alyssa Carr; his great grandchildren, Ruth, Maren and J. B.; and his close friend Freda Barr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
